Durwood Louis Brown, age 80, of Henderson, KY

HENDERSON, KY - Durwood Louis Brown, age 80, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 12:05 PM, Monday, December 17, 2012, at his home while he was sleeping.

Durwood was of the Baptist faith and a member of Audubon Baptist Church from the time he was a small boy. He was one of 12 children, six boys and six girls. Durwood worked as a carpenter all his life after graduating high school.

Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents Lee and Anna Brown, brothers: Sam Brown, Russell Brown, Gus Brown, Edward Brown and sisters: Pearl Coffman, Bessie Justice, Magdalene Byrne and Florence Brown.

Survivors include: 1 Brother: Leroy Brown Henderson, KY; 2 Sisters: Elizabeth Tooley St. Louis, MO, Mary Walsh Owensboro, KY; Nieces and Nephews; Great Nieces & Nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, KY. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery, Henderson, KY.

Friends may call from 12:00PM to 8:00PM on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 and from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday, at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, KY.
