HENDERSON, Ky. - Virginia Keown, age 91, of Evansville, IN passed away at 6:15 PM, Friday, December 21, 2012, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.

She was of the Pentecostal faith. She retired from the Evansville State Hospital to care for her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, James Keown and daughter, Anna Lou McKenzie.

Survivors include:
Daughters: Mary Lee Allen
Faye Harris
5 Granddaughters
18 Great Grandchildren
7 Great Great Grandchildren

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 24, at 12:00PM at Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. Reverend Terry Gamblin will officiate. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY.

Friends may call from 10:00AM until service time on Monday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Vanderburgh County Humane Society or any charity of your choice.
