Robert Haire, Jr. 83 of Reed, KY

HENDERSON, Ky. - Robert Haire, Jr. 83 of Reed, KY passed away Tuesday at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN.

He was born in Anthoston, KY on June 23, 1929 to the late Robert Haire Sr. and Leana Mae (Gish) Haire.

He was retired from Sunbeam Plastics in 1992. He was a member of Mt. Zion General Baptist Church and was a Korean War Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Margaret Gross and Lorene Gish.

He is survived by his wife Culetti “Katty” (Varble) Haire; 3 children; Darrell Wayne and wife Debra Haire of Floyd Knobbs, IN, Karen Frances Eblen of Henderson, KY, Bradley Ray Haire of Reed, KY; 6 Grandchildren; Matthew (Michelle) Eblen, Brandon Eblen, Daniel (Emory) Haire, Deanna (Ryan) Russelburg, Andrew Haire, Bradley River Haire; 9 Great Grandchildren; Dylan Haire, Darby Haire, Dustin Russelburg, Abby Russelburg, Bentley Eblen, Collin Eblen, Aaden Eblen, Annabelle Eblen and Hadilynn Eblen; 2 sisters; Betty Clement of Henderson, KY, Dorothy Riddle of Henderson, KY.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday December 28, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Bro. J. W. Haire will officiate.

Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson with Bro. Jerry Francis officiating and full military rites by American Legion Worsham Post 40 of Henderson .

Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 until 7:00 and Friday 8:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion General Baptist Church or National Alzheimer's Association of America.
