Della Mae Hyland, 86, of Madisonville, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Della Mae Hyland, 86, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 9:50 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center in Madisonville.

She was born on November 26, 1926 in Belton, KY to the late Beatrice and Elmer Downing. She was a homemaker and was a auxiliary member of Gideons International. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Hyland; her son, Tommy Hyland and her brother, Bonal Downing.

She is survived by her brother, Larry Downing; her sister, Donna Whitmer; her caretakers, Sandy Latham and Wayne Duncan; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2013 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Dr. Joe Leonard officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at Harris Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be the Gideons from the Hopkins County Camp.

Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
