Joan Littlepage, age 82, of Henderson, KY

HENDERSON, Ky. - Joan Littlepage, age 82, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 3:29 AM, Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at St. Anthony's Lucy Smith King Care Center.

She was born in Henderson, KY on December 9, 1930 to Druadell Critser Littlepage-Pace and James Albert Littlepage. She attended Weaverton and Seventh Street grade schools, and graduated from Barrett Memorial Training School in 1949. She was very active in the music programs including the Glee Club, Quartettes, Duets and Solos.

Joan was an active member in the First Christian Church in Henderson until she left in the 1950's to follow God's calling to the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. She was on the staff at Moody until 1986, and was a soloist at several churches in the Chicago area. Returning to Henderson in 1986 to care for her mother, Joan performed many concerts in local churches.

Survivors include: Family Caregivers: Carol Williamson Henderson, KY, Forrest and Pam Critser Fort Myers Beach, FL; Numerous Cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to Joan's Life Celebration from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, February 7, 2013 and again on Friday starting at 9:00 AM at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home with the Reverend Forrest Critser, Reverend Shawn Critser, Reverend Shane Critser, and Reverend Todd Linn, PhD will be officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson, KY.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: First Baptist Church 307 Center St Henderson, KY 42420, First Baptist Church 130 Connecticut St Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931, or St. Anthony's Hospice, 2410 S. Green Street, Henderson, KY 42420.
