HENDERSON, Ky. - Josie Kathleen Crook, age 81, of Henderson, Ky. passed away at 8:25 PM, Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Methodist Hospital.

She was a very devoted member of First Baptist Church. Kathleen had been a seamstress for a local dress factory years ago.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Lorene Caldwell, her husband: Marlin Bennett Crook in 1999, and her son: Alvin Ray Crook in 1992.

Survivors include: 1 Son: Marlin "Eugene" Crook Henderson, Ky; 2 Brothers: Robert Caldwell Elizabethtown, Ky., Joseph Caldwell Florida; 1 Granddaughter; 2 Great Grandsons; Nieces and Nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Kathleen's Life Celebration from 2:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, February 6 and again on Thursday starting 11:00 AM at Tapp Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home with the Reverend Todd Linn PhD officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: First Baptist Church.
