Marie Henshaw, age 75, of Henderson, KY

HENDERSON, Ky. - Marie Henshaw, age 75, of Henderson, KY passed away at 3:30 A.M. Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Redbanks Nursing Home, under the care of St. Anthony's Hospice.

Ms. Henshaw was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was active in Vacation Bible School and in the children's nursery. She worked at the Geneva Store for 9 years and Wal-Mart for over 13 years and loved to cook and bake. She traveled when possible and was actively involved at the Gathering Place where she enjoyed dancing and going on trips with friends. She loved listening to Gospel Music.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William L. Hobbs in 1996 and second husband, Claude Henshaw in 2005 and a brother, Frankie Jolley, and her parents, Hobert and Mary Belle Jolly.

Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Brenda Dossett and husband Mike; 3 Sons: William Paul Hobbs and wife Diane, David Lewis Hobbs and wife Rosie, Michael Allen Hobbs and wife Pam; 1 Sister: Patricia Langston and husband Bobby; 1 Brother: Joseph Jolley and wife Evelyn; 21 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Marie's Life Celebration from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home where the service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Reverend David Simpson will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Henderson, KY.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Calvary Baptist Church or St. Anthony's Hospice.
