Deborah Jane Woodard, age 62, of Henderson, Ky

HENDERSON, Ky. - Deborah Jane Woodard, age 62, of Henderson, Ky. passed away at 8:00 AM, Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at her home.

She was born in 1951 to William Francis (Blunt) Hancock and Agnes Pauline (Holland) Hancock.

Deborah was an outstanding employee with a 20 year career at J-Ron Inc. She was a devoted wife, mother and a "SUPER" Nana. She loved her grandbabies and spent every moment making their lives happy. Her hobbies were gardening, butterflies, bingo and going to the boat.

In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by a sister: Mary Lou Beck, 2 brothers: Eugene and Claude Hoskins.

Survivors include: Husband of 35 years: James Pedro Woodard; 3 Sons: Paul (Melissa) Woodard, Kenny (Charmin) Evans, Charles "Chuck" (Shara) Woodard; 2 Sisters: Cathy (Bev) Abbott; Martha (Tinker) Martin, 3 Brothers: Larry (Marge) Hancock, Dave (Carolyn) Hancock, Francis (Christy) Hancock; Sister-In-Law: Carolyn Hoskins; 9 Grandchildren: Bree-Ann and Ethan Evans, Jade, Paige, Matthew, Adian, Lilly, Codie and Ronnie Woodard; Nieces and Nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Deborah's Life Celebration from 2-8 PM Thursday, March 7, 2013 and again on Friday starting at 9 AM at Tapp Funeral Home, Henderson, Ky. Funeral service will be at 11 AM Friday with Dr. Philip Bassinger officiating. Private family graveside services will be at a later date in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
