arrest4PADUCAH, Ky. (3/14/13) – On March 8, 2013, the McCracken County Grand Jury indicted several individuals that had been investigated by the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department Drug Division for various drug trafficking offenses. Three of the individuals implicated in the separate investigations were arrested on March 13, 2013.
 
Detectives opened an investigation into the trafficking of cocaine by Victoria Buckingham and Antonio Hunt, of South 17 Street in Paducah, KY, in early 2013. During the investigation, it was determined that Buckingham and Hunt were selling crack cocaine together.
 
On Wednesday, Buckingham and Hunt, both 37-years-old, were located and arrested by Deputy Sheriffs. They were lodged in the McCracken County Jail for Trafficking Cocaine on warrants handed down by the grand jury.
 
Detectives also opened an investigation into the trafficking of prescription medication by Karla Hessler of Ledbetter, KY and Jessi Crooks, of Paducah, KY. Detectives determined that Hessler and Crooks were assisting each other in selling Methadone doses from Crooks residence located at 3712 Clarks River Road Paducah, KY. On Wednesday, Hessler, 29-years-old, turned herself into law enforcement and bonded out of jail on a $10,000 property bond.
 
Jessi Crooks, 27-years-old, has recently been evicted from her residence and is actively hiding from law enforcement. The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department would greatly appreciate any assistance in locating Jessi Crooks.
 
arrest kathyIn an unrelated investigation, deputies went to 1910 Hendricks located in Paducah, KY to arrest Kathy Montgomery, 53 years old, for Trafficking Marijuana pursuant to an arrest warrant. The warrant was from a prior investigation by detectives. Deputies and detectives searched Montgomery’s residence and located over a pound of marijuana, a quantity of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and evidence to suggest that Montgomery was illegally trafficking drugs.
 
Montgomery was transported to the McCracken County Jail and charged with one count of Trafficking Marijuana under 8 Ounces, one count of Trafficking Marijuana over 8 Ounces, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
