Darrel Lee Boling, age 74, of Henderson, KY

HENDERSON, Ky. - Darrel Lee Boling, age 74, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 10:53 AM, Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at St. Anthony's Lucy Smith King Care Center, Henderson, KY.

Mr. Boling was retired from Gamco after 25 years of hard work. He was a member of Hyland Baptist Church and The Gathering Place. In his spare time he enjoyed playing pool, walking and watching television.

Survivors include: Wife of 50 years: Opel Boling Henderson, KY; 1 Son: Larry Boling and wife Rita Henderson, KY; 1 Sister: Minnie Mossburgar Grayville, IL; 1 Sister-in-Law: Barbara Wry Henderson, KY; 6 Grandchildren: Lacey Boling, Callie Boling, Cody Boling, Christina Payne, Katrina Payne & Justin Payne; 8 Great Grandchildren: MaKayla Carter, Madison Carter, Morgan Carter, Tre Gish, Dominick Gish, Kyra Payne, Steven Kirkman, & Nolyn Rust.

Relatives and friends are invited to Darrel's Life Celebration from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, March 21, 2013 and again on Friday starting at 9:00 AM at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the funeral home with the Reverend Kenny Kidd officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson, KY.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes you make contributions to St. Anthony's Lucy Smith King Care Center.
