Escapee Apprehended in Central City

arrested handcuffs blue 300MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (3/27/13) – On Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at approximately 5:05 p.m., Trooper Jacob Fortney conducted a traffic stop in Central City on a vehicle in which Anthony W. Hunt, the escaped inmate, was a passenger.  

Mr. Hunt was taken into custody without incident and was lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.  He was charged with Escape in the 2nd Degree.

The Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department and Greenville Police Department assisted on the scene.
