Curtis Neal Snodgrass, age 50 of Henderson, KY

HENDERSON, Ky. - Curtis Neal Snodgrass, age 50, a lifelong resident of Henderson County, KY passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Methodist Hospital.

Curtis retired after working 21 years with Scott Lumber Company. He was of the Baptist faith and as a small boy attended Baskett Baptist church. He loved helping people and taking care of his cars. Best friend, James, recalls waking up to noise at 3am only to find Curtis cleaning his car and boat. He enjoyed hunting from the time he was a small boy when he would go with his step father, Herman until recent years.

Curtis was preceded in death by his wife, Danette J. Snodgrass in November of 2012, his father, Yeamon Snodgrass, and a brother, Terry Snodgrass in 1977.

Surviving Mr. Snodgrass are his mother and step father, Shannon and Herman Holder of Reed, a step brother, Chris Snodgrass of Henderson and best friends, Cathy and James Basham.

Relatives and friends are invited to Curtis's Life Celebration from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 3, and again on Thursday starting at 9 :00 AM at Benton-Glunt. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 :00 A.M. on Thursday with Reverends Leo Perkins and Jerry Francis officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Reed KY.

Arrangements entrusted to Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, a Life Celebration Home, online condolences may be made at www.bentonglunt.com.
