DUE TO HEAVY SNOWS IN WESTERN KENTUCKY...WIDESPREAD 6 TO 12 INCH SNOWFALL AMOUNTS HAVE HAULTED AREA TRAVEL. ISOLATED 15 INCH AMOUNTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED. HENDERSON, Ky. - Helen L. Taylor, age 85, of Henderson, KY passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, IN.

Ms. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, George Thomas Taylor Jr. in 1986 and a son, Daniel Lee Taylor in 1980.

Helen was born in Altamont, Illinois and later met and married her husband, George Taylor Jr in 1946. She was of the Presbyterian Faith, an American Red Cross Volunteer, and member of the Daughters of the American Revolution for many years.

Survivors include: 2 Sons: Thomas M. "Tom" Taylor and his wife Susan Henderson, KY; Jon Michael "Mike" Taylor and his wife Lauren Alexandria, VA; 1 Sister: Carol Redman Dietrich, IL; 1 Brother: Robert Wilson Kansas; Grandchildren: Stephanie DeMoss Henderson, KY, Colleen Taylor Alexandria, VA, Luke Taylor Henderson, KY, Lee Taylor Henderson, KY; Great Grandchildren: Darien Taylor and Kaitlyn Taylor .

Private Graveside Services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Henderson, KY.

There will be no visitation.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Red Cross.
