Wilma Ruth Brauser Scott, 78, of Dixon, KY

DIXON, Ky. – Wilma Ruth Brauser Scott, 78, of Dixon, KY went to be with the Lord on Thursday April 18, 2013.

She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. She loved quilting, crocheting, cooking and gardening. She was a homemaker and loved to help take care of others. She had volunteered for St. Anthony’s Hospice for over 20 years. She also had been a School Bus Monitor for the Webster County School System.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years Mack M. Scott of Dixon, KY; two daughters Ruth Ann Head and her husband Rodney of Henderson, KY, Judy Whitledge and her husband Keith of Dixon, KY; two sons, Dennis Scott and his wife Merre Kay of Henderson, KY, Mark Scott and his wife Raegina of Poole, KY; one sister, Lucille Holloway of Princeton, KY; one brother, Kenneth Brauser of Mt. Vernon, IN; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY on Monday April 22, 2013 at 1 p.m. Rev. Jeff Eaton, Rev. Ellis Payne and Bro. Alan Alfred will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Dixon, KY.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made to St Anthony’s Hospice 2410 S. Green St. Henderson, KY 42420.
