SEBREE, Ky. - Joseph E. (Bear) Thomasson, 89 of Onton, KY passed away Monday April 22, 2013 at 7:00 AM at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.

He was born on December 27, 1923 to James P. and Nora (Thompson) Thomasson.

He was retired from Windsor Plastics in Evansville. He was also a wounded decorated WWII veteran of the Normandy Beach France invasion. Bear was a lifelong member of Onton United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Jeanette (Darr) Thomasson; 1 son: Michael Thomasson and wife Tonia of Onton; 1 brother: J P Thomasson of Madisonville; 2 Grandchildren: Ross Thomasson and wife Lori, Steve Wiley and wife Lisa; 6 Great grandchildren; 1 Great-great grandchild; Nieces and Nephews.

Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday April 25, 2013 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Bro. Marty Robertson will officiate.

Burial will be in Onton Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday 9:30 AM until service time at the funeral home.
