Irene Jones Farley, age 90, of Henderson, KY

1flowerHENDERSON, Ky. - Irene Jones Farley, age 90, of Henderson, KY, formerly of Spottsville, passed away at 4:43 PM, Monday, May 27, 2013, at Redbanks Nursing Home under the care of St. Anthony's Hospice.

Mrs. Farley was member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and an avid UK fan.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband Stewart Farley in 1987, six sisters, and two brothers.

Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Sandy Farley Henderson, KY; 1 Sister: Rosie Rudd and husband Hubert Smithland, KY; 2 Granddaughters: Karen Boucherie Landon and husband George Richmond, KY, Kristen Boucherie Duckworth and husband Andy Sebree, KY; 5 Great Grandchildren: George III, Mark, and William Landon, Hadley and Hannah Duckworth; Nephews: Glenn Rudd, Van Rudd, and Tim VanCleve; Great Nieces & Nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Irene's Life Celebration from 2:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 29, 2013 and again on Thursday starting at 12:00 PM until service time at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home with the Ray Stone and Van Rudd officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: St. Baldrick's Foundation for Pediatric Cancer Research, 1333 South Mayflower Avenue, Suite 400 Monrovia, CA 91016 or St. Anthony's Hospice
