blueskyHENDERSON, Ky. - Paul E. Jenkins, age 84, of Henderson, Ky. passed away at 10:14 AM, Friday, June 21, 2013 at St. Anthony's Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center.

Paul was born in 1928 to Frank and Mary Lee Jenkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Betty L. Jenkins.

Paul was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. He loved all sports and was an avid golfer with 10 holes in one. Paul also enjoyed playing cards, especially Gin.

Survivors include: Wife of 17 years Betty Q. Jenkins; 5 Daughters: Paula Mitchell and husband Jerry, Rita Eades and husband Terry, Linda Minton and husband Eddie, Tonya Knight, Susan Pritchett and husband Chris; 1 Son: David Jenkins and wife Charla all of Henderson, Ky; 1 Step-Daughter: Suzan Mitchell and husband Butch of Henderson, Ky; 2 Step-Sons: Monte Ward and wife Martha of Henderson, Ky., Randy Ward and wife Tracey of Danville, Ky.; 1 Sister: Carol Cummings of Henderson, Ky; 4 Brothers: Don Jenkins and wife Geraldine of Evansville, In., Dale Jenkins and wife Betty Ann of Henderson, Ky., Francis Jenkins and wife Etta of Henderson, Ky., Steve Jenkins and wife Linda of Mayfield, Ky; 10 Grandchildren; 10 Step Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; 6 Step Great Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Paul's Life Celebration from 2:00-8:00 PM Sunday, June 23, 2013 and again on Monday starting at 9:00 AM at Tapp Funeral Home, Henderson, Ky. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Ken Gazaway officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, Ky. where full Military honors will be rendered by the American Legion Worsham Post #40.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: St. Anthony's Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center.
