WKU Graduate Ruby Lewis Cast in U.S. Tour of ‘We Will Rock You’

ruby lewis 300BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (6/26/13) - WKU Theatre and Dance graduate Ruby Lewis, a native of Shelbyville, is staying in demand as a performer.

She was recently cast as Scaramouche, one of the stars of the National Tour of the Queen musical “We Will Rock You.” The show has played in London for 11 years and is a worldwide smash. “We Will Rock You” will play Nov. 12-17 at Nashville’s Andrew Jackson Hall. More information about the show, including other U.S. tour dates, is available at www.wewillrockyou.com

Lewis recently worked with legendary tenor Placido Domingo when she participated in a reading of his work “Vlad.”

And look for her as a guest star on the Sept. 29 premiere of the new Showtime series “Masters of Sex,” a biographical series about legendary researchers and real life couple William Masters and Virginia Johnson.

More: Keep up with Theatre and Dance students and alumni on the department’s website, Facebook or Twitter pages.
