Night Work Planned on Frederica StreeT

(6/26/13) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be performing night work (7 p.m. – 6 a.m.) along U.S. Hwy. 431/Frederica St. in Owensboro from just north of Theater Way (mile point 10.6) extending northward to Ky. Hwy. 2831 mile point 11.389), for a distance of 0.79 miles.

The contractor will be replacing traffic loops within the project limits during night-time hours in preparation for asphalt resurfacing operations. This will require temporary lane restrictions during working hours. Work will continue for the next few weeks.

Yager Materials is the prime contractor on this $475,132 highway improvement project. The project completion date is Nov. 15.
