Kathryn Ruth Duncan Walther, age 83, of Dixie, KY

1cloudsHENDERSON, Ky. - Kathryn Ruth Duncan Walther, age 83, of Dixie, KY. left to be with her Lord on Friday, July 19, 2013 at her home surrounded by the loving care of her family and St. Anthony's Hospice.

She was a member of First Baptist Church. She sang in the Homemakers Chorus. Kathryn graduated from Lockyear Business College. Her hobbies were music, sewing, quilting, reading, word puzzles and gardening.

Kathryn was born in 1929 to Russell and Amy Duncan.

Survivors include: Loving Husband of 64 years, Donald Walther; Children: Nancy Wilkerson and husband Waverly, Barbara Tope and husband Greg, Glenn Walther and wife Janie; Grandsons: Mason Wilkerson, Alex Wilkerson and Jacob Sims; 4 Great-Grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to Kathryn's Life Celebration from 3:00-7:00 PM, Sunday, July 21 and again on Monday, July 22 starting at 1:00 PM at Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home with Reverend Todd Linn PhD officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: First Baptist Church or St. Anthony's Hospice.
