Darlene Steinbrink, age 58, of Henderson, KY

1doveHENDERSON, Ky. - Darlene Steinbrink, age 58, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 6:14 PM, Thursday, July 25, 2013, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, IN.

Darlene was born on October 30, 1954 to Forrest Hayden and Ruthie Nell Sullivan in Luzerne, KY. She was raised there and was a lifelong member of Luzerne Baptist Church. She graduated from Muhlenberg County High School in 1972 and shortly after met her husband Ronald Earl Steinbrink. He was an orderly at Greenville Hospital where her mother was a patient. They met while she was visiting her mother. They married May 4, 1972. The couple relocated to Henderson when he began working at Gamco and she became a phone operator for Bell South. Darlene maintained her membership at Luzerne Baptist Church but attended many General Baptist churches in Henderson. She pursued her first love, photography, at Olan Mills and JC Penny's. Her continuing passion was for the Klassix Kruisers, including putting together a car show at French Lick, IN

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 27 years, Ronald Earl Steinbrink, and her sister Christy Elaine Boyd.

Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Vanessa Steinbrink Crowley and Husband Keith Sebree, KY, Ronda Steinbrink Henderson, Ky; 3 Sisters: Van Duncan, Pam Sullivan, Lisa Justice; 1 Brother: Steven Sullivan; 3 Grandchildren: Corey Wells Sebree, KY, Kala Thomas Henderson, KY, Jona Van Crowley Sebree, KY, Nieces and Nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Darlene Steinbrink's Life Celebration from 2:00 until 8:00 pm Monday, July 29, 2013 and again on Tuesday starting at 9:00 am until service time at Benton Glunt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 on Tuesday at the funeral home with Brother Alec Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.
