Earl Eugene Kempf, 76, of Kuttawa formerly of Henderson, Ky

2sunsetHENDERSON, Ky. - Earl Eugene Kempf, 76, of Kuttawa formerly of Henderson, Ky passed away Monday July 29, 2013 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky.

He was a sawmill manager and a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Eddyville, Ky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cornelieus and Henrietta (Schaaf) Kempf and 1 son Curtis Douglas Kempf.

He is survived by 4 children: Jefferey Kempf of Cadiz, KY, Amy Brann of Henderson, Susan Yates of Fennville, Michigan, Richard Kempf of Corydon; 3 Sisters: Evelyn Conter of Ohio, Betty Boeglin of Indiana, Nancy Herzog of Indiana; 3 Brothers: Dennis Kempf of Ohio, Harold Kempf of Indiana, Tommy Kempf of Indiana; 7 Grandchildren; 4 Great-grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Mass will be 12:00 PM Thursday August 1, 2013 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Father Larry McBride will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday 4-8PM and Thursday 9-11 AM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel.

Prayer services will be 5:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Brann Sr., Jonathan Brann, Cody Kempf, Nick Kempf, Stephen Brann Jr, David Yates.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
