Shelby K. Jones, 78 of Henderson, Ky

HENDERSON, Ky. - Shelby K. Jones, 78 of Henderson, Ky passed away Sept.13,2013 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson.

He was born Nov. 14, 1934 to Boyd and Mae Elizabeth Williams Shelby in Webster County.

He was a warehouse manager for Gilles Schwinn Cyclerie and also a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Kemp Jones in 2010, 3 sisters, and 1 brother.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dorothy A Jones. 3 children Randy and wife Kimberly Jones of Henderson, Lori A Wise, of Henderson, Pam and husband Gene Gagne of Robards, Sheila Kay and husband Lee Glunt of Robards, a sister Grace Madden of Henderson. She also had 3 Grandchildren, Amber and husband Matthew Coney of Henderson , Megan Jones, of Henderson and David Gagne of VA. 2 great grandchildren, Ameilia Coney of Henderson and Austin Gagne of VA.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, Sept.17 at 2:00PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with Randy Jones officiating. Burial will be in Smith Mills Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 16 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM and Tues. 10:00AM until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
