Death Investigation Turns Out to be Double Suicide

breakingnews surfky 300aUPDATEGRAHAM, Ky. (10/16/13) – On Tuesday, October 15, SurfKY News reported a situation in which two individuals, a male and female, were found dead in a residence in the Graham area.

Upon arrival at the residence, Kentucky State Troopers and Detectives discovered the victims, Dune (no legal first name) 47 and his wife, Yolanda R. Dune, 35, both of Graham, KY, deceased in the living room of the residence. The preliminary investigation revealed that each victim appeared to have suffered from a single gunshot. Muhlenberg County Deputy Coroner Ricky King pronounced the victims dead at the scene.

An autopsy was conducted this morning at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Madisonville. The preliminary results indicate that each victim died from a single, self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The investigation is continuing by KSP Detective Lonnie Kavanaugh. KSP Post 2 units and the Muhlenberg County Coroner’s Office assisted at the scene.
