Donations Sought for Family that Lost Home in Fire

Fire 03 house 300CERULEAN, Ky. (11/28/13) — Donations are being accepted for the Smith family that lost their home to a fire Wednesday in Trigg County.

The Trigg County Sheriff's Office is collecting for the family. For more information on making a donation through the Sheriff's Office, contact Sheriff Burnam at (270) 350-3825. Anything and everything is needed. The family lost all of their material possessions. The couple has two daughters ages 12 and 8.

Donations for the Smith family are also being accepted at the SurfKY News office at 1215 Nebo Road, Madisonville, Ky. Hours are8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. For more information, contact Karen Orange at (270) 452-2727.
