He was employed at Burgess Construction. Dan was an avid hunter, sportsman and devoted father.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John David Hope of Geneva.
Survivors include his partner of 21 years, Donna Simpson Fowler; one daughter, Taner Fowler of Louisville; his parents, Danny and Dava Fowler of Morganfield; one sister, Melody Pike and her husband, Perry, of Morganfield; one brother, Sean Fowler of Morganfield; his grandparents, Dolly Hope of Smith Mills and Donald and Edna Fowler of Morganfield; one niece, Abby Pike; and five nephews, Brennen Quertermous, Mason Pike, Davis Pike, Aiden Fowler and Peyton Fowler.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Morganfield. The Revs. Billy McKendree and Jerry Chesser will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Friday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield.
