MUHLENBERG, Ky. (2/21/14) – Ann Cisney, Greenville native, has been an employee of the Muhlenberg Job Corps since July 1, 2002 where she was recently awarded the “Employee of the Month” title.

She continues to demonstrate excellence in her job by placing qualified students into the workforce to obtain hands on experience in their fields of interest.

Recently a Leisure Time Employment location was obtained within 24 hours for two students who requested leisure time work.

This location also became a new Work-Based Learning and Leisure Time Employment partner for Muhlenberg Job Corps.

(Cisney) act(s)… above and beyond all expectations of her job requirements and merits recognition for her caring ways of all students.

During the month of January, Ms. Cisney had to bear the passing of her brother. The day after her brother passed, Ms. Cisney was not only concerned about personal family matters but also concerned about a former Job Corps graduate – Yosef Koltea.

Ms. Cisney came in and drove him to the Nashville Immigration office so he could take care of the process to be able to go back home to visit his mother, whom he hasn’t seen in over seven years.

This act alone is above and beyond all expectations of her job requirements and merits recognition for her caring ways of all students.

When Ms. Cisney is aware of students relocating after graduation, she is the first to collect home items for those students. She continues to have a teamwork attitude by working with every department on Center.

She is vital to the success of Career Transition by assisting to locate housing, vehicles, and apartments for graduating students.

And the list goes on.

She is significant to the many successes of the students and enthusiastically supports the Job Corps program.

For these many reasons Ms. Cisney is named Employee of the Month based on initiative, job knowledge, student customer service, communication , and professionalism.
