Hayley Beth Payne to Perform at the Owensboro Regional Farmers Market

owensboro-events 01OWENSBORO, Ky. (6/19/14) — Teen talent Hayley Beth Payne will perform her own blend of rock, pop and country at the Owensboro Regional Farmers’ Market 9-11 a.m. Saturday located at Owensboro Christian Church.

Hayley Beth is already a rising star at age 14. The Daviess County High School student recently performed at Friday After 5. Hayley, who has loved music all her life, has her own style that takes the best of country and combines it with rock and pop

The main attraction at the market – local food – is plentiful. Vendors from across the region will have delicious local choices in produce, meats, baked goods and more.

Produce currently in season includes beans, blueberries, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, onions, peaches, peppers, potatoes, spinach, tomatoes, snap peas, summer squash and zucchini. The market also offers locally raised chicken, beef, pork, eggs and milk. Customers will find baked goods, fresh flowers and plenty of surprises.

“The market is a healthy and affordable alternative for families. Local food is best - for your health, for the environment and for the local economy,” Farmers’ Market President Suzanne Cecil White said. “We thank Hayley Beth and other entertainers who make Saturdays special and help more people discover the market.”
