The main attraction at the market – local food – is plentiful. Vendors from across the region will have delicious local choices in produce, meats, baked goods and more.
Produce currently in season includes beans, blueberries, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, onions, peaches, peppers, potatoes, spinach, tomatoes, snap peas, summer squash and zucchini. The market also offers locally raised chicken, beef, pork, eggs and milk. Customers will find baked goods, fresh flowers and plenty of surprises.
“The market is a healthy and affordable alternative for families. Local food is best - for your health, for the environment and for the local economy,” Farmers’ Market President Suzanne Cecil White said. “We thank Hayley Beth and other entertainers who make Saturdays special and help more people discover the market.”
