obit2HENDERSON, KY - Patricia Ann "Pat" Nix, 62, Boonville, passed away at 10:52 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, at her home with her companion.

Pat was an avid animal lover and an amateur radio operator.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Estel Ervin and Geneva F. Bolin Nix; and one sister, Judith Gale Nix.

Survivors include her companion of 43 years, Janice Knight of Henderson; one sister, Kaye Tevebaugh of Evansville; and cousins of Evansville and Boonville.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home in Henderson. The Rev. Ernie Lingerfelt will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to any animal charity of your choice.

Pallbearers will be Stoney Knight, Barry Gerton, Bobby Gerton, Scott Durbin, David Williams, Don Titzer and Jimmy Nix.
