Bernadine Thomas, 84, of Henderson, Kentucky

 

butterfly2HENDERSON, KY - Bernadine Thomas, 84, of Henderson, Kentucky passed away Tuesday November 22, 2011 at 6:27 AM at Lucy Smith King Care Center.

She was born in Ogden, Utah on February 22, 1927 to Christian and Susie (Anderson) Anderson. She worked for Sureway for 20 years and was a member of Finley Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William “Bill” Thomas, son James Thomas, Son-in-law Danny Brown and 2 sisters Barbara and Elsie.

She is survived by 2 Daughters: Sandy Brown of Henderson, KY, Susie and husband Cliff Thomas of Henderson, KY; 1 Son: Dennis and wife Shirley Thomas of Henderson, KY; 1 Sister: Mary Walters of Jerome, Idaho; 7 Grandchildren: Keith Brown and wife Kerri, BC Thomas, Jimmy Thomas, Joseph Thomas and wife Staci, Nicole O’Nan and husband Josh, Stephanie Smith and husband Scott, Stacey Fish and husband Nate; 8 Great-Grandchildren: Hayley Brown, Zack Brown, Mason Brown, Kara Goldsberry, Wesley Goldsberry, Caleb Fish, Will Thomas, Mason Smith.

Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday November 26, 2011 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Bro. Jeff Burke will officiate.

Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 PM and on Saturday from 9 AM until service time.

Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Keith Brown, Zack Brown, Mason Brown, BC Thomas, Joseph Thomas and Jimmy Thomas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lucy Smith King Care Center and Finley Baptist Church.
