Doyle B. Harris, 69, Henderson

 

treesunHENDERSON, KY - Doyle B. Harris, 69, Henderson, passed away at 4:37 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, at Methodist Hospital.

He was the owner and operator of a video store. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was of the Methodist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Addie Winstead Harris and Lona Rae Smith Harris, and by a half-brother, Henry Thomas Gibbs.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Brenda Sue "Pinkie" Harris; one sister, Anna Faye Harris of Tennessee; one brother, Clay Harris of Virginia; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Tapp Funeral Home. The Rev. Raymond Abbott will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery, with military honors rendered by American Legion Worsham Post No. 40.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
