Richard F. McCullough, 84, Evansville, formerly of Morganfield

 

half staffEVANSVILLE, IN - Richard F. McCullough, 84, Evansville, formerly of Morganfield, passed away Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011, at VNA Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.

He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II. He was a retired independent oil producer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Thomas and Myrtle McCullough.

Survivors include one daughter, Katie Robins of Bridgeport, Conn.; three sons, Charles Michael McCullough of Evansville, Richard Clay McCollough of Ashland City, Tenn., and Brian Patrick McCullough of Martelle, Iowa; one brother, Dr. Charles McCullough of Asheville, N.C.; and one grandson, Jonathan McCullough.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield, with full military rites.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association.
