Margaret Beatrice Sutton, 89, Henderson

6flowerHENDERSON, KY - Margaret Beatrice Sutton, 89, Henderson, passed away at 12:35 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, at her home.

She was of the Christian faith, a homemaker and quilted for Lions Quilting Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Ray Sutton; her parents, George and Pearl Stone Majors; and one son, Lanny Stephen Sutton.

Survivors include three daughters, Judith A. Thompson and Carol Ford, both of Henderson, and Ginnia Emmons of Florida; two sons, Jackie R. Sutton and James H. Sutton, both of Henderson; one sister, Lillie Nichols of California; 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Rev. Ellis Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

 

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice.
