Blaze Michael Crowley, 9, Evansville

 

obit8EVANSVILLE, KY - Blaze Michael Crowley, 9, Evansville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, at Riley Hospital for Children.

Blaze was a third-grade student at Fairlawn Elementary. He loved fishing, swimming, camping, four-wheeling, boating and, most of all, spending time with his papaw and mamaw. Blaze bravely fought his battle with leukemia since his diagnosis in 2008.

He was preceded in death by two uncles, Clifton Decker Jr. and Chris Steinmetz.

Survivors include his loving parents, Timmy and Shanna Crowley; three siblings, Danielle Crowley, Cody Decker and Damion Crowley; grandparents, Clifton and Sandra Decker, Mike and Judy Steinmetz, and James Crowley; and great-grandparents, Zetta Decker and Margie Crowley.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sunset Funeral Home in Evansville. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Evansville.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
