She attended Christ Corner Church and The Lighthouse Church.

Shirley Jean Ray was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray, in 2001 and a son, Eddie Ray, in 2006.

Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Cindy Ray Madisonville, KY; 2 Sons: Gordon Dale Ray and wife Sandy Evansville, KY, Steven Ray and wife Vickie Henderson, KY; 4 Grandchildren: Kenneth Zachary Paducah, KY, Rachelle Ray Henderson, KY, Joshua Ray Henderson, KY, Jessica Ray Henderson, KY; 1 Great Grandchild: Nicholas Zachary Madisonville, KY.

Funeral Services for Shirley Jean Ray will be conducted at 2:00PM, Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, KY. Rev. A.G. Winters will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Henderson, KY.

Friends may call from 11:00AM until 8:00PM on Tuesday and from 10:00AM until service time on Wednesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, KY.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice.
