Wayne Price, 66, Morganfield

 

5sunsetMORGANFIELD, KY - Wayne Price, 66, Morganfield, passed away at 3:01 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville.

He was an oil truck driver for Country Mark Oil Co. He was a member of the Eagles Club. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Bernadette Ruark.

Survivors include his wife, Diane; one daughter, Britney Price of Morganfield; five sons, Michael Price of Queens, N.Y., Scotty Price of California and Christopher Price, Andrew Price and Norman Price Jr., all of Morganfield; five stepsons, John Utley Jr., Billy Utley, David Utley, Harry Utley and Oscar Utley, all of Morganfield; two sisters, Mary "Midgie" Bonner and Sharon Ann Rice, both of Morganfield; one brother, William Waggener of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. The Rev. Gerald K. Baker will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
