Mark Anthony Stone, 49, Henderson

 

obit21HENDERSON, KY - Mark Anthony Stone, 49, Henderson, passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at the University of Louisville Medical Center.

He was born in Sturgis to Stephen Eugene and Doris Melvin Loveless Stone on July 10, 1962.

He was employed by Polymer Partners. He was a very active member of New Hope Pentecostal Church, where he was a Sunday school teacher for teenagers and also was the church guitarist.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Owens Stone; his mother, Doris Loveless Stone of Henderson; one son, Jordan Stone of Henderson; one sister, Rhonda Woodard of Henderson; two brothers, Mike Stone and Nathan Stone, both of Henderson; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon Wednesday at New Hope Pentecostal Church. The Rev. Tony Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to New Hope Pentecostal Church Building Fund.

Pallbearers will be Jason Woodard, Marcus Woodard, Larry Woodard, Wesley Woodard, Steve Stone, Zachary Stone, Shane Bentley and Alex Owens.
