skyHENDERSON, KY - John S. Ervin, 39, Henderson, passed away at 7:27 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at St. Anthony's Lucy Smith King Care Center.

He was of the Protestant faith, and he was a salesman for Chester's Used Cars in Evansville for the past nine years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Ervin; his son, Kalon Michael Stone; his sister, Lisa Williams; and two brothers, Robert Ervin and Chester Ervin Jr.

Survivors include his companion for 27 years, Donna Stone, of Henderson; his mother, Vickie Ervin of Reed; one daughter, Kimberly Stone of Henderson; one son, John Kaleb Stone of Henderson; one sister, Laura McDaniel of Reed; and one grandson, Kyron Stone of Henderson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Rev. Tony Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
