Rosa May Meadows, 80, Henderson

6sunsetHENDERSON, KY - Rosa May Meadows, 80, Henderson, went to live with Jesus at 1:45 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at St. Anthony's Lucy Smith King Care Center.

She was born May 12, 1931, to Henry M. and Clara Goldie Armour Meadows.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her two sons, Virgil E. Lee and her infant son; and three brothers.

Survivors include, two daughters, Judith A. Lee and Clara Susan Stone and her husband, Darrell, all of Henderson; four sons, James T. Blandford and his wife, Linda, both of Habbardsville, Danny L. Blandford Sr. and his wife, Debbie, Henry R. Meadows and his wife, Amanda, and Robert W. Meadows and his wife, Gayle, all of Henderson; 27 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon Tuesday at Tapp Funeral Home. The Rev. Allen Baxter will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice.
