obit17MORGANFIELD, KY - Agnes L. Mills, 101, Morganfield, passed away at 8:35 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson.

She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Morganfield.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clements Mills; her parents, John and Virginia Willett Coney; and one son, Gerald Mills.

Survivors include three daughters, Virginia Miller of Sturgis and Betty Mattingly and Mary Jo Faught, both of Louisville; two sons, James Mills of Henderson and Joe Mills of Morganfield; one brother, John Coney of Beaver Dam; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ann Catholic Church. The Rev. Freddie Byrd will officiate. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and until service time Wednesday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, where prayers will be said at 6:30 p.m. today.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Ann School Building Fund or St. Anthony's Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center.
