Carolyn Juanita Embry, 53, Boca Raton, formerly of Henderson

 

6flowerHENDERSON, KY - Carolyn Juanita Embry, 53, Boca Raton, formerly of Henderson, passed away Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.

She was of the Southern Baptist faith and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Juanita Shields and Joe Embry Jr.

Survivors include her fiancé of 10 years, Bobby Schachel of Boca Raton; two children, Chasity Pedrosa of Fayette City, Pa., and Anthony Miller Jr. of Somerset, Ky.; two sisters, Shirley Henson of Henderson and Mary Jane Embry of Smith Mills; three brothers, Glenn Embry and Billy Embry, both of Henderson, and Donald Embry of Smith Mills; six grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Miami Transplant Institute, Highland Professional Building, 1801 N.W. Ninth Ave., Third Floor, Miami, FL 33136.

Pallbearers will be Nick Embry, Billy Embry, Jeremy Embry, Derrick Smith, Timmy Smith and Eric Sharp.

Florida funeral arrangements are being handled by Babione Funeral Home East Chapel in Boca Raton.
