Johnny Baize, 79, Sebree

 

sunrise1SEBREE, KY - Johnny Baize, 79, Sebree, passed away at 11:49 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at his home under the care of St. Anthony's Hospice.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and his garden.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Tresia; his parents, Leo Edward and Gracie Belcher Baize; and four daughters, Sherry Brooks, Lula Belle McLean, Eva Jo Calhoun and Teresa Lovell.

Survivors include three daughters, Angela Baize of Sebree, Veronica Spink of Dixon and Jean Pryor of Slaughters; three sons, Charlie McLean of Henderson, Johnny R. Baize of Sebree and Loman Baize of Providence; two sisters, Josephine Rickard and Joanne Fugate; one brother, Lucian Baize; 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. Brother Thornton Stanley will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice.
