HENDERSON, KY - Jean Ashby Wilson Trigg, 93, Henderson, passed away at 10:55 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at St. Anthony's Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center.
She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She was a teacher for the Henderson County school system for 15 years and was active in the League of Women Voters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Foster Trigg Jr., who passed away in 1998; and her parents, Joseph Thomas and Mary King Wilson.
Survivors include two daughters, Emily Trigg Mabee of Henderson and Jane Foster Trigg of Murray; one son, Joseph Wilson Trigg of LaPlata, Md.; one sister, Emily Wilson Wolfson of Murray; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. The Rev. John Hines will officiate. Interment will be in Fernwood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the church.
