HENDERSON, KY - Bessie Sue Tackett Beasley, age 93, of Reed, KY, went to be with the lord at 1:17 AM, Thursday, January 19, 2012, at Methodist Hospital, Henderson, KY.

She was of the Baptist faith and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Mrs. Beasley was preceded in death by her parents Eslie and Golda Tackett, two sisters Lucille Tackett Beasley, Pauline Tackett Saalwaechter, and one brother Bobby Tackett.

Survivors include: Husband of 76 years: Emmett Beasley Reed, KY; 1 Son: David Beasley and wife Ginny Reed, KY; 1 Sister: Marie Tackett Lewis Owensboro, KY; 2 Grandchildren: Nathanael Beasley Reed, KY, Aaron Beasley Reed, KY; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, KY. Reverend Eddie Calloway will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Reed, KY.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday and from 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, KY.
