Jesse (Otho) Hibbs, 93, of Madisonville, KY

 

MADISONVILLE, KY - Jesse (Otho) Hibbs, 93, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 11:35 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

He was born on September 29, 1918 in Nebo, KY to the late Jesse and Claudie Hibbs. He was a United States Army veteran serving during WWII. He was owner of Hibbs Market. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Hibbs; five daughters, Debra Pace, Mary Sue Hibbs, Sandra Faye Hibbs, Judy Darnell Hibbs and Rebecca Kay Hibbs; two brothers, J.D. Hibbs and James Carroll Hibbs; and a sister, Louella Almon.

He is survived by three daughters, Linda Gail Blanchard, Joey Elaine (Richard) Crews all of Madisonville and Sharlene Evans; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Ralph Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Nebo Cemetery in Nebo, Ky.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Thursday at Harris Funeral Home.
