EARLINGTON, KY - Joyce Dean Mason Gordon, age 64 passed away at 8:56 p.m. Wednesday 02-08-2012 at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

She was born March 21, 1947 in Greenville to Clarence Lester and Eula Browning Mason.

She was a member of the Suthards Baptist Church in Suthards. She worked as a retail clerk at Baker and Hickman in Madisonville and last worked as a teller for Liberty Bank in Madisonville.

She was the original secretary of the original Earlington High School Reunion Committee from 1993 until 1995.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Carolyn Jones and Kaye Greer and one brother Terry Mason.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years Charles W. Gordon of Earlington, three sons Chris A. Gordon and Sherry Mangum of Suthards, Shane W. Gordon and his wife Nina of Ilsley, Neil E. Gordon and his wife Rhonda of Mortons Gap, one brother Dwight Mason and his wife Nancy of Earlington, one step-sister Donna Hokensmith and her husband Floyd of Frankfort, five grandchildren Deidra Wallace of Ilsley, Quentin Gordon of Owensboro, Stephen Gordon of Earlington, Ashlyn Gordon of Mortons Gap, Chelsey Gordon of Ilsley, three great-grandchildren Rebecca and Racheal and Madison and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be at 2 :00 p.m. Sunday 02-12-12 at Reid-Walters funeral Home with Bro. George Brooks officiating. There will be no burial.

Her visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
