Thelma M. Coffman, 92 of Dalton

 

WEBSTER COUNTY, KY - Thelma M. Coffman, 92 of Dalton, passed away on Friday, Feb. 24 at Ridgewood Terrace in Madisonville.

She was born on Nov. 6, 1919 in Webster County to Clay and Fannie Villines. Thelma was a homemaker and past member of Victory Baptist Church in Providence. She was a present member of Stoney Point Primitive Baptist Church and had taught Sunday School at Victory Baptist for over 26 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Earl Utley in 1973. She later married Floyd Coffman.

She is survived by her husband Floyd of Providence, two daughters, Marie Utley Brown of Hopkinsville and Debbie Rene' Cartwright of Madisonville. One son Harold Thomas Utley of Mason, Ohio. A brother Jimmy Ray Villines of Dixon; Eight grandchildren, Dan Douglas Brown, Stephanie Marie Brown Adcock, Brian Thomas Utley, John Thomas Cartwright, William Earl Cartwright, Kathryn Rene' Cartwright, Cynthia Ann Utley Poppe and Adam Nelson Utley. 8 great grandchildren, Taylor, Shelby, Ann Marie, Byars, Corinne, Zachary and Alex and one great great grandchild Piper.

Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Jones & Erdman Funeral Home. Funeral service will be  Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 at 3:00 pm  with burial at Slover Cemetery .

Memorial contributions may be made to the Slover Cemetery Fund.
