KARYN TAPPHANSON, KY - Karyn Fletcher Tapp, 47, of Hanson, KY, passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Regional Medical Center.

She was born March 31, 1964 in Louisville, KY.

Mrs. Tapp was a member of the Christian Assembly. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts, Madisonville, KY.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Tapp of Hanson; her parents, Leonard D. and Helen Barnes Fletcher of Madisonville; one stepson, Chris Tapp of Evansville, IN; one brother, Donald (Rita) Fletcher of Eddyville, KY; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 5, 2012, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Ellis and Bro. Shannon Embry officiating. Burial will follow in Ilsley Cemetery in Ilsley, KY.

Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Sunday and after 9:00 A.M. until the service time on Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
