Timmy Parris, 42, of Manitou, KY

 

parris TimmmyHOPKINS COUNTY, KY - Timmy Parris, 42, of Manitou, KY passed away at 12:42 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.

He was born on July 1, 1969 in Morganfield, KY to the late Terry Parris and Tresia Lindsey Parris. He was a coal miner for RJ Temper working at Prairie State Coal in Illinois. He was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church in Hanson, KY.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his uncle, Tony Lindsey.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Parris; his three sons, Cameron Tabor, Colton Parris, and Bryton Parris all of Manitou; his sister, Becca (Mark) Parris-Peyton of Slaughters, KY his brother, Robert Parris of Madisonville; several nieces and nephews; and a future granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Archie Calvert officiating. Burial will be at the Parris family home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Matt Herron, Chad Locke, Mike Dyer, Ricky Ramage, Greg Devine, Frank Schnapf, Troy Cates and Dave Herron. Honorary pallbearers are Jason Stone and Jeremy Calvert.
