John F. Fallin Jr., 82, of Madisonville, KY

MADISONVILLE, KY - John F. Fallin Jr., 82, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at his residence in Madisonville. He was born April 14, 1929 to the late Floyd Fallin and Thelma Joie Adams Fallin.

Mr. Fallin was employed by Coca Cola and was a U.S. Army veteran. He graduated from Hanson High School in 1949. He was also a member of First United Methodist church, and loved sports, especially UK basketball.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Fallin of Madisonville, whom he married on May 2, 1952; one daughter, Patti Jo Fallin of Henderson, KY; one son, John “Skip” Fallin III of Madisonville; one sister, Imogene (Jewell) Gipson; and one brother; Jerry (Betty) Fallin.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 31, 2012, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Dr. Don Davis and Rev. Weyman McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Cemetery in Hanson, KY.

Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday and after 9:00 A.M. until the service time on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
